Casa Gispert
This is a great food emporium dating way back to the mid 19th century. It still has an original wood burning almond-roasting stove around the back which dates back right to when the store first opened. I find myself buying things here that I would never imagine I needed but eventually something amazing gets cooked using some of the great ingredients they sell.
Everything from roasted macadamias to oils, chocolates and saffron, you can find it all here in wonderfully timeless surroundings. Hazelnuts and almonds are the house specialities, be sure to get some freshly roasted nuts to take away with you and maybe a gift for a friend.
