Sometimes its the little things about a neighbourhood that make you feel at home, making a visit to Almacen and buying some fresh fruit and vegetables from its cheerful proprietor, is one of those things. I learned and practiced much of my Catalan here and always enjoy the chat about whats cooking or the weather. This is the perfect fruit and vegetable stand you would typically find on a country road- but right in the center of the Born wedged between trendy boutiques.
Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and don’t forget to ask about the big bunches of fresh herbs in the fridge at the back. A special one of a kind place.
