Murivecchi
Unpretentious and classic Italian eatery with the best pizza in town. Murivecchi has its own brick ovens and special pizza sauce as well as friendly staff and a comfortable dining room. There are some unique Pizzas- one of our favorites being the ‘Fantasia’- a pizza with all the fixings including egg, bacon, rocket and mushroom. Also really worthtrying is the timbale al duo pesti which is made with goats cheese, roast eggplant and figs, delicious!
The menu also offers an extensive listing of fresh pastas with both meat and vegetarian options, all of which are highly recommended. Don’t forget to have a look through the list of specials of which there are many, they always have a great risotto and seafood dishes. Desert, well you’re on home ground here in an Italian restaurant with tiramusu always looking like a great option. Reasonable prices and excellent portions, Murrivechi is great for either lunch (€12 incluing wine) or for dinner (did I mention its probably the best place for take away Pizzain this part of the city?)
