Kibuka

I’m very fond of this little Japanese restaurant, they claim to have a Brazilian twist to their menu but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed. Be forewarned; they don’t take bookings and at the weekend you’ll need to be lucky to get a table, and the staff can be a little brusque but the food is normally good, often excellent and always moderately priced. Throw in some excellent white wines that perfectly compliment the grub, wash it all down with a varied selection of sake and you’ve made a fine start to an evening’s entertainment. If, for whatever reason, you can’t make it out of the house Kibuka will send a sushi chef to your home with an advanced booking (minimum of eight required).
