During the daytime this is a square much like any other, at night however, it transforms into perhaps the most lively and certainly noisiest square in Gràcia. All manner of groups sprout higgledy-piggledy; sprawled on the ground, drinking, carousing and generally making jolly. The overflow of customers from the many bars add to the raucousness but the atmosphere remains very friendly and sociable, no doubt in part to the purple clouds of smoke that linger over the square well into the wee hours. Any of the bars are worth a look, but Café del Sol, on the northern end and Sol de Nit on the eastern side deserve a special mention. And finally, when you’re feeling a little peckish, there’s a great little pizza slice place called Muccis on the south-west corner.
