Gimlet
The Gimlet is a classical cocktail lounge, small intimate 1950’s wood panneled almost David Lynch interior, you really feel that your drink is being made especially for youso much so that you know your drink is being really made especially for you.
The long mahogany supported many mediatative sips of some delicious traditional cocktails served over by nonchalant barman with the subtle grace of mixed perfection.
The atmosphere is movie like New York elegance frequented by local restauranteurs, bar owners, celebrities, artists and musicians but really the drinks are the main attractions, classic sours, daiquiris (highly recommended), ultra dry martinis and manhattans. Don’t ask for sex on the beach, Gimlet is old school!
