If you feel like fastasizing at being Lord Byron on the Venetian Lido, visit Espai Barroc. Located in a 17th century palace, this rather curious bar is decorated in a manner that reminds one of a baroque country home. The selection of grand art, sculptures and candles set the perfect mood to listen to some classical music.

On Thursday nights at 11pm you can enjoy an authentic live opera show while sipping a glass of fine wine. The singers make a real effort to involve the audience and it makes for a unique and intimate experience. If you’re not too familiar with opera, not to worry, each piece is presented with a brief synopsis so you can appreciate it. The drinks are pricey, but are justified by the spectacular venue.
